Introduction
In 2024, I collaborated with Ben and two other team members from Empowered Academy on developing multiple franchise logos, a website, and various conversion strategies.
These improvements led to a significant increase in conversions, resulting in a 38% revenue growth in 2024 compared to 2023.
Needs, requirements, and challenges
In my role as Digital Soulmate, I was responsible for designing digital assets, providing strategic input alongside Ben and the team, and driving higher conversions.
The key wishes and requirements were:
• Streamlining actions: Handling payments outside the website created extra steps for users and additional work for Ben and the team. Examples include event registrations, payments, and communication. This needed to be addressed through improved customer journeys and a smooth checkout process.
• Facebook as a lead funnel: A lot of prospective users know Empowered Academy via Facebook, so we had to leverage the channel effectively.
• Logo creation: Designing franchise logos for Empowered Academy, Empowered Breathwork, and Empowered Adventures.

Iterative design leads to good and fast results
This project taught me that iterative improvements matter more than perfection. Monitoring feedback and user behaviour allowed me to refine the designs continuously, leading to a fantastic final result.
Improved workflow with Advanced Custom Fields
During the project, I used Advanced Custom Fields to load the same content in multiple places, preventing duplication and ensuring the website remained fast and efficient.
A broader SEM strategy presents opportunities for further growth
Due to the client’s other priorities, SEO and PPC received little focus in this project. Successful implementation requires client cooperation, which proved tricky in this case.
